Pantydeal Podcast - Episode 5: Interview with FoxyFeet, panty seller
Today we’ll be interviewing another Pantydeal seller, FoxyFeet. Let’s see what she has to say about her experience selling panties.
Introduce yourself and tell us how long you have been selling on Pantydeal?
I'm 53 years old. I live in the UK, in Devon. I’ve been selling on Pantydeal for 10 months.
What made you decide to start selling panties?
I was reading a magazine at work one day and there was something in there about a woman who was selling foot fetish stuff and it seemed like a fun side hustle, a nice way to earn extra money. I researched “selling used panties” on Google and that’s how I got here. It was a side hustle to start making some extra money on the side.
How has your experience been so far?
The first six weeks were really hard because I didn't get a sale at all for the first six weeks and I was about to leave. But at 6 weeks I managed to make my first sale, which was great. My partner said to me as well at the time, give it until after Christmas and see what happens. But it was really difficult at first. I have quite enjoyed it. It was a steep learning curve really. But on the whole, it's good fun.
After that first sale I was flying and it was great!
Do you have another job alongside this or is this your full-time side hustle?
I work part-time in a convenience store.
What do you find easy then about selling panties on Pantydeal specifically?
When you connect with a good buyer and the whole sale is easy from start to finish and it's enjoyable for both sides, I like that. Just basically looking for or finding genuine buyers who connect with you individually and are interested in what you have to sell. And when that happens, it can feel magical because it is such an easy transaction and it's easy to communicate with them.
What's been challenging or more difficult?
Sorting the wheat from the chaff – the genuine buyers from the not-so-genuine. Not every single buyer is going to be interested in what you have to offer because we're all very individual and unique.
What items do you sell?
I sell videos, photos, a little bit of camera work, sexting, that sort of thing.
What are your best sellers?
I’d say custom videos and panties.
On average, how much would you say you make in a week or a month?
Well, it is really variable. The most I've made was about £600 pounds ($750) in a month. And the least is maybe about £50 ($70). but I'm not on the site all the time. I just tend to work a couple of hours in the evening or weekends.
What do you like most about selling?
I love it when you get a good interaction with a buyer. I mean you can be humorous with them and they get your vibe and I really like that. It makes it a lot easier to sell it.
I also like the fact that my self-confidence has skyrocketed. As I’m a bit older I was always a bit dubious that anybody would want my stuff because I'm over 50. But I feel a lot more self-confident, especially with my body image.
You mentioned your husband earlier. How does he feel about it?
He's absolutely fine with that. He sees it as just a job because there's no emotional attachment to customers and there's no physical contact. He doesn't mind that I'm doing it at all. I also told my mum she thought it was funny. I think everybody who I know or everyone I care about knowing knows.
What advice do you have to new sellers?
If it feels like it's difficult getting your first sale, just ride it out because it will happen. You've got to be patient and you've got to get a thick skin really quickly. In the beginning, it can be difficult to keep hold of your self-confidence.
When I first started and I started thinking that all other sellers were better than me, I actually went through a lot of seller’s profiles. I compared myself to them. I could see just from doing that, there was such a wide range of body types and things for sale and prices, everything like that. And it just made me think, well actually, because there's such a wide range of body types that are being successful sellers on here, I do fit in there somewhere.
What's your long-term vision for your panty store?
I'm quite happy to carry on doing it until the sales stop. I'd like to be full-time so I can leave my part- time job because I really don't like it. I would like to achieve more. I enjoy it that much though, I'm still doing it 10 months down the line. I feel like I've got a network of friends through this work.
