Pantydeal Podcast - Episode 3: Interview with DavisonV, panty seller on Pantydeal
Today’s episode of The Pantydeal Podcast is a little different. Today we are going to be interviewing successful Pantydeal seller DavisonV, to find out more about her story and how she’s making great sales on the site.
Welcome! Tell us about you and how long you’ve been selling on Pantydeal.
I’m a MILF from Michigan in the Midwest, USA and I've been selling on Pantydeal since about March of 2019. I was selling for a while before joining the site, so in all, I’ve been selling for about one year now.
What was it that made you decide to start selling panties?
Well, that's kind of a funny story. I had never heard of selling panties, I would never even have thought about it! I was out one time having a cocktail with a friend of mine and we were just chatting with some people at the bar when a gentleman dared me to go in the bathroom, remove my panties, and that he’d have $50 sitting on the bar when I came out.
I figured, well, worst-case scenario is I come out and there's no money on the bar. So, I did it and I came out and discreetly handed the panties over and there was $50 sitting on the bar. I got a huge thrill from that and realized that there are men out there that want to buy used panties.
So after that, I had the idea brewing in the back of my head and it just kind of simmered there for a couple of months. And then I decided that I wanted to do it again.
And so I found a way to do that locally on a more local platform. My initial selling experience was through local meetups.
After coming to Pantydeal it's much easier and convenient for me to sell online. I can do it on my own time. I can mail my packages at my convenience. I don't do a whole lot of meetups anymore after finding Pantydeal. It just seems to work better for me to sell online.
How has your experience been so far?
It's been fabulous. I absolutely love it. I love the site. I love meeting all of the wonderful buyers and sellers. Everyone has been amazing. I've just met some amazing people that I would truly consider a friend. I'm just so grateful for this experience overall.
What have you found easy about selling on Pantydeal?
As a new seller on the site, I received a lot of attention from buyers. So, I didn't have to do a lot of work in the beginning. I literally sat there and the messages rolled in one after another and I wasn't having to put a lot of extra work into looking for buyers if that makes sense.
What did you struggle with?
I would say now that some months have gone by, I need to put more time and effort into messaging or responding and into posting and creating more posts. There is more of that involved. So now I would say the hardest part would be looking for new buyers and connecting with them.
What do you sell on your page?
I sell panties and other wearables such as socks or bras, leggings and other clothing a buyer is interested in. I do like sexting sessions. I do phone sex, custom videos, webcam, and Skype sessions. My best seller is definitely Skype sessions.
How much do you make on average?
There’s a lot of variation in my numbers. There have been days where I made over $300 and then there have been days where I didn't make a single sale. So, if you average it out it’s probably about $2000 per month. But it does vary.
What do you like most about selling panties?
The number one thing would be the satisfaction of knowing the buyer is satisfied. When I get the message that he has received my panties and he loves them, I am immediately filled with satisfaction. I also like the whole process, packaging up the panties and including little notes and ribbon.
What does your husband think about what you do?
He is fully supportive. I probably wouldn't do it if he wasn't. He'll help me. He's even in some of my videos. Absolutely supportive!
What about friends and family in general then? Do they know what you do?
They don't. I haven't told any of my friends and family and that's just kind of a personal decision for me.
What advice do you have for new sellers?
My number one piece of advice would be to be prepared that the numbers are always going to be changing as far as how much you're making. You might go down and then back up again and then down and back up again. If you're not making any sales in the very beginning, don't let that make you decide to stop. Just keep going and try to look at the big picture.
I think it is so, so important to reach out to other sellers because you have to have somebody that you can talk to, somebody that you can bounce questions off of. If I was doing this alone and I did not have other sellers that I could talk to, it would be so difficult. It's just really important to have the other sellers there to just support you. For sellers that don't necessarily know anyone yet, just reach out, just send a message and ask questions.
What would you like to achieve with your used panty store?
My long-term goal is that I just want to continue. When I started, I didn't really know what to expect and how it was going to go. I didn't know if I was going to be successful or not and I didn't even know if I would like it. I've been doing it for about a year, so I don't have any intention of stopping. I’m just going to keep going.
